In-Person Audition Requirements
- You must be 18+ to audition for this production
2. Headshot, Bio, and Resumé of performance experience
3. 32-bars of a vocal selection of your choice along with 3 copies of the sheet music (A song from the show Is OK)
4. An accompanist will be available at the audition.
If you’d rather sing with a recording, please provide a copy at the audition. Acappella Is accepted.
5. A brief monologue - 90 seconds max
6. Jazz or Character Shoes Required for the Dance Audition

A message from our Founders
Hello everyone!
Welcome to the start of something truly revolutionary for the Arts here In Fresno, CA.
The Fresno Theatre Association Is a dedicated to providing high-quality, professional-grade theatre performances that benefit not only the audiences, but the actors Involved as well.
As Fresno locals and music professionals ourselves, we have come to realize the diverse amount of talent this town has to offer ranging from musicians with degrees In performance, actors with degrees In theatre, seasoned instrumentalists and more. Many of these talented performers are often forced to leave Fresno as there aren’t many opportunities for compensation related to their craft(s). Other talented individuals are forced to settle and take on other forms of employment in order to maintain financial stability. This Is a huge problem!
Fortunately we believe we have come up with a solution. Together we have worked to reignite that spark In Theatre Arts by offering a creative solution In which performing professionals will be able to be paid for their expertise. We hope our organization’s financial structure and plan will motivate our local Central Valley professionals to get back onto the stage where they truly belong.
While there are wonderful, amazing community theatre companies available In the Central Valley, our goal as an association is to not inhibit these amazing companies from continuing to thrive. Rather, our goal is to take performing to the next level. We want to show our community that our talent In Fresno Is capable of putting on Broadway-level performances.
